It was announced in Rolling Stone magazine that ATL’s legendary lord of R&B is packing up and heading to Vegas. This is because Usher is slated for initially 12 performance dates. Mr. Raymond will be headlining his own Colosseum residency at Caesars Palace, starting July 16th, 2021.
The magazine quoted Usher saying; “2020 has been extremely complicated—we’ve suppressed this anxiety and energy to do anything social,” “So I’m really excited to be able to know that I’m in the process of putting together a show for Las Vegas.” In addition to his most popular bangers like “Climax” and “Nice and Slow’, the artist will also be performing new titles for an audience 4300 hosted at The Colosseum.
Caesars Entertainment and Live Nation will be producing the show. Real Usher fan better not move “Nice and Slow” because presale admission to see this R&B star, presale go on sale starting at 10 am PT on Sept. 7 and sales open to the general public on September 10 at 10 a.m. PT. A portion of proceeds will go to Usher’s New Look, Inc. (UNL), a nonprofit serving the needs of disadvantaged youth. Of his organization founded in 1999, Usher says “[UNL] is my hard work that goes into really helping people to have a greater life, greater opportunities, understand that they can be entrepreneurs,” “Every time that I’ve done anything, I always try my hardest to intertwine for-profit and for-purpose at the same time, and this is an opportunity for me to do.”
Usher’s already highly anticipated 2021 residency dates are as follows:
July 16, July 17, July 21, July 23, July 24, July 28, July 30, July 31.
December 28, December 29, December 31, and January 1.
